I’ve been lazy with posting lately.  I’ve been lazy with a lot of things lately.

I completely understand the winter blues now, especially after spending almost two weeks in Chicago.  While it’s bright and sunny today, it’s also -6C/21F.  I’m just whiny because I’d love to explore more if 1) Albert could come with me because I came here to see him and I enjoy his company and 2) it weren’t so damn cold.  I’m from Hawaii; I have a hard time dealing with extreme cold. D:

That being said, I really really don’t want to leave tomorrow morning.  I hate leaving him.  It physically hurts.  We’ve tentatively planned a trip to London in April because there will be an open house day for Production Design at the National Film and Television School (NFTS) on April 10.  It’s also $700 cheaper than visiting in June.

I’m going to keep myself busy with researching grad schools and scholarships in London.  These past two weeks, having our own place with just the two of us was too awesome.  This is what I want.

Anyway, in other news:

I hit pan on my mini Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream.  It’s so dry in this apartment.  My skin is freaking out.  If we actually lived here long term, I’d buy a good humidifier.  On the upside, though, my hair dries fast.  So do my makeup brushes. :P
