Swatches: Essie Bikini So Teeny

Essie Bikini So Teeny

Okay, I feel like a bit of a jerk for posting this so late.  This is a limited edition color that came out in the beginning of summer, and I just checked macys.com, where I ordered it, and it’s no longer available.  I did find it on beauty.com, but it has to be shipped via ground mail, so those of us in Hawaii (and maybe Alaska too?) won’t be able to order it.  I haven’t seen this stocked at Macy’s Ala Moana either, nor any of the CVS stores, etc.  I suppose you could always try evilBay… It was hard to track down even when it first came out, because it was a really popular color.

Such a cute name, too!  It’s described as “a sparkling, cornflower blue.”  There is a very subtle purple shimmer in the bottle when you look closely, but I didn’t find that it translated onto my nails.

See how pretty??  I think it goes well with my skin tone and makes my hands look cleaner and brighter.

Again, I’m sorry I didn’t get around to posting this sooner.  I took the pictures quite some time ago, probably when it was still available on macys.com, but I procrastinated too much on going through them and editing them.

BUT.  If I know you personally, and you live on Oahu, you are more than welcome to borrow my bottle. ;)

Well, depending where you are, the link to beauty.com still has it. It won’t ship to Hawaii, where I am, though. :( Good luck if you decide to get it! It’s a very pretty color.

Well, I think I’m about a NC30-35? I was matched to NC40, but I thought it was too dark, and anyway it was months ago and I haven’t seen the sun much since. :S

Err, I hope that helps somehow, haha!
