From winning to whining

I’m without a computer again. I took it to the Apple Genius Bar and there was a hardware problem, so I needed to return it. Unfortunately, I got the run-around from the employees, and because of that, I went home to get the accessories to return, drove back to the mall, waited again in an increasingly crowded store (I don’t understand why anyone would go there for fun. I hate crowds.), only to be told that I have to call the online store to return it because it was bought online. I’m pretty sure they could have deactivated my “free” gift card in store. And now I’m worried that I’m going to run into more problems trying to return it because I don’t have the original box anymore. They were going to bypass it in store, but now that I’m dealing with the online store, I just have a bad feeling that it’s not going to work out in my favor.

Main point is: I’m back to using my phone for the internet. I’m still pissed at Apple, but mostly frustrated with the circumstances. This is the first computer I bought in six years, and trust me, it was time for a new one years ago. But after I drop over a grand on a new one (and that’s not chump change to me, I work in retail, so I basically get paid peanuts), this fiasco happens. Of course. My life.

Sorry. I just needed to vent. To no one that reads this blog. I’m tired and sick and I don’t want to do anything. I’m allowing myself a moment for self-pity: This sucks.

That is all.
